How hot do you look! - Bikini Babe

Hey ladies. As you may already be aware that we have been posting lots of summer holiday related posts because duhhhh its SUMMER BABY. Although you may not have realized living in the UK. However if you are planning a holiday and having a bikini body crisis then you are in the right place.

RULE #1: The lighting in shop changing rooms can be highly unflattering. Apply a self tanner a full day in advance so you know exactly what colours will complement your skin tone on holiday.

RULE #2: Have a look what items of clothing you LOVE in your wardrobe and what types of clothes flatter you. Chances are if you love your V-neck tops then a halter neck would suit you best.

The yummy tummy - Avoid horizontal stripes as this will only make you appear wider. Opt for a tankini top and shorts. These will hide your tummy and will look much more flattering. You can buy a wide range of tummy control tankinis with extra support that will help suck in those wobbly bits. However if you prefer to wear a bikini then look out for bikini bottoms with a high waist band so you can fold the waist band over to give extra tummy support.

Hips don't Lie: If you are one of those bikini babes that want to give a flatter look to your hips and thighs then i would suggest that you buy a suit with more eye-catching detail on the top half as this will draw attention away from the lower half. Wear darker bikini bottoms than your top.
Avoid: Boy shorts, anything eye-catching on your bottom half including frills or bright colours and one-pieces.

Straight to the point: If you have a straight figure then the trick is to create an illusion of curves. You can achieve this by adding detail. Ruffles, padding, ruching, and prints can make you look curvier. Horizontal stripes work wonders. They always make you look curvier. Bottoms with emblishment or frills draw attention to the hips and make them appear wider.
Avoid solid colours or anything free from texture, square necklines and vertical stripes.

Serious about swimming: If you are the athletic chick then you need a suit made of extra life lycra fibre. This is a stretchy fabric that resists chlorine. The one suit that will ring a bell for most people is the SPEEDO. That's why you'll always see those athletic women doing swimming laps in the pool wearing a speedo. Now it all makes sense right? If you're one of them then
Avoid: Padding, loose suits or low neck ones. They will catch water and slow you down.
Buy a fuss free speedo which is your best bet. Opt for cross-back straps or a thin racer back that won't slip off your shoulders while you perfect your breast stroke.

Busty beauty: Underwire is KEY! You will also need wide and adjustable straps, boning, seamed cups, and sturdy lining which will help lift the chest.
Tip: Always turn sideways in the changing rooms to make sure the swimsuit is giving you full coverage.
If you chose a halterneck make sure there is a band under the breasts to stop them from slipping. If the fabric feels tight it will offer support if not it won't.

The small side: To keep a smaller chest from looking flat, your top should be padded, twisted or have ruffles along the top edge.

A-list - www.shoshanna.com is a big hit with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift. Some nice swimwear and separates.
